Upcoming Events

A bright ruby, this highly savoury cabernet promises from the get go with a nose that is nicely restrained rather than all show and go. The emphasis is on graphite, pencil lead and mineral. Cool. Suave. Impressive. Mid-weighted, little more. The fruit unravels with some air across the cheeks, showcasing cassis and cherry flecked with some gentle oak vanillin and mint.

2018 Petit Verdot

Shannon Sutherland is shaking things up with his new range of Rymill wines. This single release Petit Verdot smells like one can only imagine Dame Helen Mirren smells; gentle waves of pretty violet and potpourri. Petit Verdot is one of the five red varieties of Bordeaux. The grapes for this seductive siren were plucked from a few precious rows at Rymill’s 3 Mile Lane vineyard. It’s gorgeous, bright, juicy, seductive, and all class.

2018 Less is More Shiraz

Foot-crushed shiraz, naturally fermented with no additions, basket pressed, bottled by gravity, hand-labelled, cork-sealed and wax-dipped. Lovely perfumed shiraz with snappy purple berries and a dusting of powdery tannin. Delicious and good value.
