2018 The Surveyor Cabernet Sauvignon
The Surveyor pays homage to John Riddoch Rymill, who led the British Graham Land Expedition to Antarctica in 1934-37, where he discovered and surveyed the Antarctic Peninsula.
Only the finest parcels of our Cabernet are selected, and after crushing are hand plunged. Once pressed, the wine is matured in 100% new French Oak where it develops in complexity.
Cellaring Careful cellaring for up to twenty years will reward those with patience.
- "the wine is excellent. Deep, rich and powerful. It has a vibrancy, it's floral and full of beautiful fruit. Full bodied, with a plushness and an abundance of ripe tannins. The length is superb. The most complete and balanced Surveyor to date." - 96 points, Jane Faulkner - Halliday Wine Companion 2021
